MUSIGA-BRONG AHAFO REGION JOINS THE WORLD TO CELEBRATE MUSIC DAY.




Before the incipient of the celebration of the World Music day on the 21st day of June, 2013, the Executives and members of the MUSIGA in Sunyani were met by members of the Sunyani police unit.               

Cytec Media Consult, which is the official event organizing company for the Musicians Union of Ghana, Brong Ahafo and its members paraded in front of the Sunyani Post Office.
 
The hugely attended event started early in the morning with music through the principal streets of Sunyani.  The executives were happy as members of the public who witnessed the float could not help but dance to the Ghanaian music that emanated through the loud speakers of the spinners.  

Members of MUSIGA held placards with strong inscription like music is life to the public and all music lovers telling them that music as a profession needed to be supported.






 

With protection from the police, the MUSIGA members marched through the street with fun showcasing their love for Music. 
 
The inspired MUSIGA members made it clear to the public that music as a creative venture needed the support of every music lover.  Members of Musicians Union of Ghana, Brong Ahafo educated the public on how to contribute to the course of paying royalties to Ghana music which will go a long way to help musicians in Ghana. 
 
The MUSIGA members also propagated their purpose on the World Music Day to their target audience who are mostly bar operators, funeral organizers and others who benefit from the intellectual properties of musicians to contribute to grow of music in Ghana. 

The float came to an end with an invitation from Loyalty is Royalty and the Musicians Union of Ghana, Brong Ahafo to the public to a live music show at Secretz Pub and Night Club.

Akos breaks TV3 Mentor's male winner record

The male dominance in TV3′s Mentor  came to an end in the wee hours of Monday, August 19, 2013 when Roselyn Akosua Mantey, popularly called Akos, was adjudged winner of Season VII of the station’s flagship reality show.  She beat competition from Gabriel Ansah, populalrly known as Gabby, and Honny Kingsley Theophilus, also known as Honny, to walk away with the sleek Hyndai Accent saloon car. She will also be GH¢7,000 richer and will receive souvenirs from sponsors.
