We are wrestling...

Bonjour! Welcome to Day 7 of Operation PUSH. We underline today's prayer from Ephesians 6:12. We have been warned before long that we are actually in a war. Our Lord God and master Jesus knows we are in a war and warns us to Watch and Pray. The word says for we wrestle not against flesh, but against principalities. Hm! Now let us note that principalities come in so many forms: physical and spiritual. In the next seven days, we are Praising God, in Faith and waging war against principalities. In fact we are winning the battle over principalities. Let us begin with the principality called, "HURT AND BETRAYAL". Many of us Christians feel being taken for granted because we "must forgive ". Some people we loved really hurt us so bad it has had a toll on our faith in God and even our ability to trust fellow humans. Carrying this baggage of unforgiveness is not healthy for our relationship with God. The devil feeds on every little chance he has to destroy us. The word

Have Faith, And Praise your way through that obstacle!

Buenas días,  Welcome to Day 6 of Operation PUSH.  We base on James 1:6-8 for our prayer today. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. When Psalm 46 was written, Israel's circumstances were not unlike ours. They had been suddenly attacked: the Assyrian army had come from the north, burned fields to the ground, and surrounded Jerusalem. It was a time of national catastrophe. Yet the psalmist wrote, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear".  As used in this psalm, the word trouble means tight places—those circumstances in which we feel surrounded, trapped, and helpless. In those tight places, God is our refuge. Sometimes He becomes a shield to protect us from trouble, calming the storm for H

The enemy is allergic to Praise

Bonjour mes amis,  Today, we are on Day 5 of Operation PUSH! We are still praising our way through to our breakthroughs from 1 Chronicles 16:4 and Psalms 150:6.  Do you know the enemy cannot stand praise and worship? He hates a joyful believer, and if we persist in praising God instead of complaining about our problems, it drives the enemy mad, and he gets very confused. If only we could glimpse what happens in the kingdom of darkness, I think we would praise more and complain less. But if we look at the natural realm we can understand what praise does to the enemy. Have you ever hurt someone to the core? I mean that hurt should have taken a lifetime to get over, but during the time of anger and pain, the person seems to rise above it, they seem to dress better, they seem to get more attention than before and suddenly, you get upset, jealous, and even confused. Well multiply that feeling a million times over, and that is how the enemy gets when despite all you have been through you can

Happy Fathers day

Operation PUSH Day 4. The father's love. Psalm 103:13 I know most of us are celebrating our fathers today. Some of us are also reminiscing bad memories about our fathers. A father is the Head of the home, his effect is felt deeply in the whole family. If the family does well or crambles, the Father is mostly to blame. He is the priest of the home, he provides for the family. He protects the family physically and spiritually. As the priest of the home, he intercedes and lead all activities be it spiritual and physical. As children, we depend on our fathers to be present at home to help nurture us. The kind of love and respect we give them is different from that we have for our mothers. We feel secured about asking our fathers to provide for us because we envisage that they have and it's their responsibilities. Now the utmost Father of us all, once we receive Christ is Our Lord God Almighty. He says in His word, "And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and dau

Your Promise fuels your Praise

Bonjour!  Welcome to Operation PUSH  Day 3.  We are basing today's prayer session on 2 Chronicles 29:30  A promise from God is as good as it gets, there is no shortfall, no changing His mind; God is just looking for someone who will take Him at His word and praise their way through because God will bring you out of your trouble and He will lead you into all His goodness. The Apostle Paul encourages us to fight the good fight of faith because the enemy is always lurking in the background of our thoughts trying to sow seeds of doubt about God’s promises. I know when the situation seems bigger than us it is very difficult to stay in faith, but, this is reason God gives us a promise – the promise fuels our faith and leads us to praise. The Bible teaches us that God inhabits the praises of his people (Psalm 22:3). God is with us all the time in the person of the Holy Spirit, but when we praise God based on his goodness, faithfulness, and love for us, we experience a manifested presence

Get your Praise on...

Buenas días mis amigos,  Welcome to Day 2 of Operation PUSH.  Our prayer session today is based on Acts 16:25 God's promises are true. He never disappoints on his promises. Disappointments come when we assume God should fulfill his promises to us on our timetable, and when it doesn't happen the way and time we want it to, that breeds hopelessness. One of the most heart-breaking situations in life is to have someone promise you something and then never follow through. But God will always bring to pass what he has promised. In the Bible there are promises for every obstacle and situation you may face in your life, the Apostle Paul tells us, "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him, the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God." (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV). A promise from God gives us hope to carry on even when the answer is delayed, or the enemy seems to make headway in destroying our lives.  One of m

You have a weapon

Bonjour a touts,  Welcome to Day 1 of OPERATION PUSH  We are basing our prayer session today on Psalms 138:2 Every day in life we face challenges: be it in our homes, the job, in our relationships, health or finances. Every one of us is subject to battles, but the way we deal with our challenges will make the difference in the outcome. I find it very difficult to stay focused on God when my body and heart is in pain, or when my kids are not doing well, or even when my finances are running low. Perhaps you can identify with the struggle because we all know the struggle is real. Unfortunately, believers often get caught in the trap of the enemy by choosing the wrong point of focus which is the size of the problem. I have heard it said time and time again, "the battle is won or lost in the mind" and this to be very true because the apostle Paul admonishes us to renew our minds daily (Romans 12:2 NIV). Our thought of life is so precious and important, and if we do not renew the m

Walking on egg-shells in a marriage

Buenos Dias, Have you ever wanted to discuss something you felt was really important with your spouse but held back because you were scared of the outcome? Marriage is one sacred place where communication is supposed to be open and free but when its not then there is a huge problem. We recently received a message from one of our readers that I would like to share with you all; ‘’what’s the best way to bring up sensitive issues with my spouse? I'm concerned about things that are going on in our marriage, but I'm afraid to talk to my spouse about them because I don't want to start a fight and make things worse.’’ So, how do we answer this? When tough topics come up, couples can find lots of places to fall into the ditch. Some pits are dug before marriage – if you didn’t develop the right communication skills in your family where you grew up in, it’s hard to learn how to manage conflict with a spouse. There are other mistakes that can be traced to ignorance or inex
