Trust the Future to God's Power

Operation PUSH         Day 27

Psalms 46:8‭-‬11
"Come, behold the works of the Lord , Who has brought desolations and wonders on the earth.  He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two; He burns the chariots with fire.  “Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.”  The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]". 

The future is in view in these verses: a time when wars will erupt and a period known as the great tribulation will overtake the earth. Jesus told His disciples, "And there will be signs…and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken" (Luke 21:25-26). 

Ultimately, all will culminate in Israel in a battle called Armageddon (see Revelation 16:16). Then Jesus Christ will con7me to end the battle—and end all wars. God, our Ruler, will one day reveal His mighty power. In the meantime we're called to acknowledge His power and "be still."

Akos breaks TV3 Mentor's male winner record

The male dominance in TV3′s Mentor  came to an end in the wee hours of Monday, August 19, 2013 when Roselyn Akosua Mantey, popularly called Akos, was adjudged winner of Season VII of the station’s flagship reality show.  She beat competition from Gabriel Ansah, populalrly known as Gabby, and Honny Kingsley Theophilus, also known as Honny, to walk away with the sleek Hyndai Accent saloon car. She will also be GH¢7,000 richer and will receive souvenirs from sponsors. Akos’ performance in the final, held at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC), kept a large section of the audience chorusing her name as winner of the contest, which began with 16 contestants. Bonjour,  I am tearing up listening to Mama Gloria Bamiloye saying something about her husband, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye. They inspired me to write this. Most of my posts so far has been on praying about your marriage and making God the centre of it.  To the singles out there, have you ever thought of communicating with God about your future partner?  Do you have expectations(specs) of whom you would like to share the rest of your life with?  Go to God in prayer and ask Him to give you what you want. The best part of God anwering your prayer is Him giving you what is actually Best for you. He knows what you need but He needs you to ask for it.  Now to today's topic; Marriage can actually take you to hell; either here on earth or after you are dead!
