Actor Kanayo O Kanayo who became a pastor, has decided to join politics

The Nollywood star who was one of the most sought after male actor by producers during his prime called it quits with his movie roles and ventured into full time evangelism.

All seemed to be going well with his new found life as a pastor until a couple of days ago when he announced a new political appointment he received to chair the Nigerian Tourism Industry as it’s board chairman, essentially quitting his pastoral role for main stream politics.

The National Institute For Hospitality and Tourism Studies is a new body that oversees the Nigerian tourism industry in the present administration. According to insiders, the actor’s new relationship with Oronto Douglas Oronto, a powerful voice in the current administration facilitated his political appointment.

In accepting the new role, Kanayo had this to say:

“Thank you Lord for this responsibility! Like Solomon, I plead for your wisdom.”

The actor-turned full time pastor is now a politician. Congrats to him!
