The Director of TV Africa, Kwaw Ansah, held a media launch at the studios of the Network near Awudome Estates, Accra last week, to outdoor his tenth movie.
The launch comes ahead of the movie premiere to be held at the National Theatre later this month.
The new movie which is titled 'Praising the Lord Plus One' is a two-hour movie with seasoned Ghanaian movie personalities such as Ecow Smith-Asante, Eddie Nartey, Nii Addo Kwei Moffat, Martin Owusu, Ama K. Abebrese and Adjetey Anang, playing various roles.
The movie presents Ecow Smith-Asante as Prophet Apostle Gabriel, the man of God who takes advantage of unsuspecting victims and Eddie Nartey as Apostle Joshua, the conman for Prophet Apostle Gabriel.
Prophet Apostle Gabriel, however, got to his wits end when he raped Rebecca Commey, who seriously needed a baby to appease her in-laws.
Mr. Kwaw Ansah, in an interview, said 'Praising God Plus One' is a must-watch movie.
The Director who is credited with the production of movies that touch on social issues continued that the movie is not to undermine the clergy but to bring the topic of 'sheep in wolves clothing' for public discussion and education.
He further said when people are in need they tend to be vulnerable and rely on people who claim to have solutions to their problems.
Mr. Kwaw Ansah appealed to the public to encourage people who are vulnerable in situations such as delay in childbirth and disease, rather than subject them to ridicule.
Ecow Smith-Asante in a response to a question as to whether his splendid performance as a pastor in the movie will not lead to any public attack especially from the clergy, said 'this is the job I have chosen to educate, inform and entertain and for which I must act very well to the admiration of viewers'.
